Here is another traditional Kerala recipe. I have the Kerala Special Bitter gourd recipe or should mention it as Bitter Gourd Depp fry. You will definitely love this recipe, which differs from normal veggie fry recipes. Bitter Gourd or Bitter Melon is known as Pavakka/Kaipakka in Malayalam and Karela in Hindi. In order to reduce the bitterness while preparing Bitter Gourd Thoran sometimes people squeeze out water from it but I'm not doing so. And while making this recipe I used curd and lemon to reduce bitterness.

Ingredients:
- Bitter gourd - 1 big
- Corn flour - 1.5tsp
- Besan/Gram Flour - 2tsp
- Semolina - 2tsp
- Turmeric powder -1tsp
- Chilli powder - 1tsp
- Curd - 3tsp
- Lime juice - half a lime
- Salt - as required
Procedure:
- Bitter gourd cut in circles
- Discard the seeds and clean throughly
- Add corn flour, besan, semolina, turmeric powder, chilli powder, curd, lime juice, salt
- Combine Well
- Rest for 10mins
- Fry it oil
- Fry until it turns crispy
