   Ingredients to make 10 parathas

   
  • Wheat flour - 3cups
  • Methi leaves a bunch
  • Curd -1/4cup
  • Ginger - 1/2inch
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Chilli powder -1/4tsp
  • Cumin - 1/4tsp
  • Ajwain - 1/4tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Ghee

Procedure:






  • First, wash and clean the methi leaves thoroughly. After that, chop them finely.

  • Combine wheat flour, methi leaves, curd, ginger paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin, ajwain, salt, and oil. Mix everything thoroughly, gradually adding water until you achieve a smooth dough, similar to that for making chapatis.

  • Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.

  • Afterward, shape the dough into balls and roll them out like chapatis.

  • Next, cook the paratha by flipping both sides until it's done. Once cooked, brush both sides with ghee or oil, and your delicious parathas are ready to enjoy!
